'Big Bang Theory' Recap: Disney Princesses on 'Contractual Obligation Implementation'
1. 'Big Bang Theory' Recap: Disney Princesses on 'Contractual
Obligation Implementation'
On Big Bang Theory Contractual Obligation Implementation, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is looking for
a way to encourage women in the field of science. Meanwhile, the girls head to Disney Land, and Raj
(Kunal Nayyar) has a first date with Lucy (Kate Micucci) in the library.
Will the guys inspire?
Leonard is serving on a university committee by coming up with a way to help females become
interested in science. But Howard (Simon Helberg) and Sheldon (Jim Parson) arent very helpful in
coming up with ideas on how to stir up interest. Thats because theyre too busy playing a sexist video
game with a character that has mammary glands that can nurse a family of 30.
But when Leonard strokes Sheldons ego and reminds him of how smart he is, Sheldon pipes in with
the best plan: create an outreach program that targets middle schoolers. Some people are otters,
some people are rocks, Sheldon says, comparing his intelligence level to that of Leonards.
The guys head to Howards old middle school for a test
run, but first Sheldon needs to do some research. He googles, How do I get 12-year-old girls excited?
And thats most definitely not going to return the results he wants.
At the middle school, Leonard tries hyping up science, and all he gets is lackluster applause. Then its
Sheldons turn. Hello female children, allow me to inspire you, he says. But his story of Madam Curie,
and how she poisoned herself to death, was not inspiring. With a little hard work, I dont see why that
couldnt happen to you.
Howard then gives it a try as he talks about his foray into space. But since Howard never went to the
moon and didnt fly the rocket, a girl compares him to her uncle, a flight attendant. Im an American
hero, your uncle brings people nuts, he retorts.
Leonard tries again by talking about his beginnings in science, but he ends up ranting about how his
parents forced him into the field. Clearly this outreach program isnt workingbut Sheldon has one
last idea.
Rajs first date
Worried about his first date with Lucy, since shes so socially awkwardlike himselfRaj crashes a girls
2. night to get some advice from Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), and Amy (Mayim
Bialik). But Amys advice to show himself as steady in the face of danger doesnt work, and
Bernadettes suggestion of Disney Land just reminds him of India. Theyre out of ideas for him, but
they know what they want to do on Friday: ditch work and go to Disneyland on Big Bang Theory
Contractual Obligation Implementation.
So what does Raj do? He plans a picnic in the library, and since they have to be quiet there, it will be
a texting date, which is perfect for this pair. But, as youre reading, remember I have an adorable
accent, Raj says.
Of course, auto correct almost gets in the way of their gynecologist and pun jokes. Raj thinks that
she said shes a web designer for porn websites. Turns out, she meant prom.
At the end of the date, Lucy speaks and thanks Raj for a nice date. But she wants to do one more
scary thing before she goes: give him a kiss. But as she leans in to his puckered lips, she freaks out.
Panic attack! Maybe next time! she declares. To which Raj says, Im counting that as foreplay.
The girls play Disney princesses
How did the girls get out of work on a Friday? Amy, of course, did it in stages. She told her boss she
was going for sushi. Then she said the scallops tasted weird. And then she claimed to be throwing up
like a fire hose. And then she called while dry heaving. And now Im going to Disney Land!
Penny just left the Cheesecake Factory and said, bye.
Bernadette has big plans for the Disney visit. She wants a princess makeover. And while Penny
wants to get drunk and go on rides, she agrees. After all, they get to pick a princess, and get their
hair and makeup done, the works. But when they all say they want to be Cinderella, Bernadette says
no. Shes going to be Cinderella; Ya bitches got a problem with that, I can stop the car right now.
And this is where the guys storyline meets the girls. Sheldons one last bright idea is for the students
to talk to two successful female scientists. So while Bernadette is dressed as Cinderella and Amy
dressed as Snow White, they ironically extol the virtues of not caring about looks but focusing on
their minds.
We can be anything we want to be, Bernadette tells the girls over the phone. Except Cinderella, an
unhappy Penny says from a nearby bench.
3. The girls return home, and the guys like what they see. Howard strips in seconds when he sees his
Cinderella. The same goes for Leonard and Penny. But what of Amy and Sheldon? All Snow White
needs is one little kiss to wake up, Amy says from the couch.
From his desk, Sheldon doesnt even look her way. Instead he says, Heard you the first time. Yep,
that sounds about right.
