The urinary system includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, sphincter muscles, and urethra which work together to create, store, and carry urine out of the body. The urinary system removes waste from the blood and works with other organs like the lungs and intestines to maintain chemical and water balance in the body by excreting waste.
