It seems to me that the logical response to educating any child is early intervention. There are many
subjects within our reading that were astonishing to me however the most surprising was that
kindergarten is not actually mandatory in most states, Vermont included. Early education is
important in providing a successful future for our children therefore, this is notable. I understand

A study conducted by Guiberson (2009) has found that the enrollment numbers of Hispanics in
special education was disproportionate to the population in the schools themselves. He also finds
that these issues is not present in all schools but have linked the issues to several criteria some of
which are the diversity among students, the size of the school district, and per student spending
(Guiberson, 2009). In Guiberson (2009) study he found that 49 percent of the bilingual special
education students may not have been learning disabled. The students may have had difficulties that

Inclusive education is about providing the best possible learning environment for students with
disabilities. The purpose of the article was to determine the disposition, skills, and knowledge of
both general and special education teachers as well as the school environment. The research
suggests that teachers must have open–mindedness and be self–aware when they teach in an
inclusive classroom. Many teachers provided answers that suggest that they understand the need and
have the willingness but lack the skills and knowledge while some simply lack the needed

Introduction:
The job interview is the gateway to employment, and the ability to interview well is a skill–set in
itself. Most young people who are new to the process find that they are often unsuccessful at this
component of attempting to become employed due to the fact that they are underprepared for the
nuance laden and sometimes improvisatory nature of an interview. This critical step becomes more
difficult when a young person experiences difficulties with language, comprehension and/or social
deficits as many of our student with disabilities do. According to the US Department of Labor,
young people with disabilities ages 20–24 are employed at half the rate of those without. The same
subgroup are living in poverty at twice the rate of those without disabilities according to the US
Census Bureau.
Though vocational skills preparation programs exist to address these issues, they are largely
underutilized by high school aged children primarily to due to a lack of awareness that they exist,
how to find them or what purpose they serve. Students with disabilities benefit from skills
preparation programs under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004) which
mandates that post secondary transition planning education and training be provided to each eligible
student beginning by age 16 and be individualized to meet each student's unique needs. This
