special education was disproportionate to the population in the schools themselves. He also finds
that these issues is not present in all schools but have linked the issues to several criteria some of

Inclusive education is about providing the best possible learning environment for students with
disabilities. The purpose of the article was to determine the disposition, skills, and knowledge of
both general and special education teachers as well as the school environment. The research
suggests that teachers must have open–mindedness and be self–aware when they teach in an
inclusive classroom. Many teachers provided answers that suggest that they understand the need and
have the willingness but lack the skills and knowledge while some simply lack the needed

together whenever possible. Isolating children with disabilities may lower their self–esteem and may
reduce their ability to deal with other people. The practice of integrating children with disabilities
into regular school programs is called mainstreaming, or inclusion. Students with disabilities attend
special classrooms or schools only if their need for very specialized services makes mainstreaming
impossible. Many children with disabilities attend regular classes most of the school day: They work

Lowering eligibility requirements can be defined as what can be done to maintain eligibility and not

of education the student–athletes are receiving. The greatest concern when discussing eligibility
requirements is based on all the topics of changing grades, encouraging the enrollment of 'easy'
classes, and even the admission process. An article was written about keeping the colleges
accountable in terms of making sure the student–athletes are getting the best education they can. The
chronicle received a statement from a Big Ten academic advisor stating, " you jump, online, finish
in a week and a half, get your grade posted, and you're bowl eligible" (Carey, 27). The same article
stated that these online (Carey). The importance of that statement is to bring emphasis that in order
to maintain eligibility you just have to have a certain number of hours and GPA. There are no

During the interview we addressed the legal framework for students whether special education and
general education students attending private and public school. "Private schools are not obligated to
adhere to Special Education Laws. Many private schools do not accept students with disabilities.
Public schools receive funding from the Federal Government for students with disabilities but

IDEA, there has been greater regulation of educational services and identification of legal rights

The job interview is the gateway to employment, and the ability to interview well is a skill–set in
itself. Most young people who are new to the process find that they are often unsuccessful at this
component of attempting to become employed due to the fact that they are underprepared for the
nuance laden and sometimes improvisatory nature of an interview. This critical step becomes more
difficult when a young person experiences difficulties with language, comprehension and/or social
deficits as many of our student with disabilities do. According to the US Department of Labor,
young people with disabilities ages 20–24 are employed at half the rate of those without. The same
