I. Computer Science Honor Society Induction
Honor Society President Read (Erik Nadel): The students you see here today
have been selected to become the first students to be inducted to The Walker
School’s Computer Science Honor Society.
Inductees names are:
Bren Bowerman
Jonathan Hayne
Jack Johnson
Decker Onken
Erik Nadel
As they come forward and receive their certificate of induction, I would like to
briefly read the requirements for induction:
 An unadjusted average of 90 or above in all Computer Science courses
 Has taken, or is currently enrolled in, AP Computer Science
 Currently taking a third semester of Computer Science
In order to maintain good standing in the honor society until graduation, each
inductee must:
 Continue with their computer science education by taking other courses, or…
 Student who may not be able to fit a computer science course into their
schedule each year may either participate in the robotics club for 2 seasons
or participate in a summer internship in a computer science fields at a local
university
 Each year students are also required to serve at least 15 hours of community
service in some aspect of computer science
 All inductees must maintain an unadjusted average of 90 and above in all
Computer Science courses.
