Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter is to serve as a recommendation letter for Ms. Briana Rowe. I've known Ms. Rowe for two
years and met her when she was a student in my Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship Course. She has
three character traits that I think make her extremely attractive as an employee. First, she is very
engaging with strong personal skills. Despite the fact that, as a society, we engage in more and more
social media and internet communication, personal and social skills continue to be critical in the
organizational setting. Briana is especially strong in this area. She is persuasive and an "organizational
builder". An example of this is how in the fall of 2009 Briana decided to "interview" for President of
Colorado State's CEO (Collegiate Entrepreneur's Organization). Each student who was interested was
asked to give a short "elevator pitch" about why they were best for the position. Brianna's pitch was
very strong resulting in her unanimously becoming the President for the year 2009-2010.

Ms. Rowe is also very motivated. As is often the case in university clubs/organizations, interest begins
to wane as the semester progresses; students become overwhelmed with the amount of work and they
begin to disengage. Briana was very motivated and planned interesting and exciting events throughout
each semester. She was also able to convince her colleagues to remain engaged resulting in the most
successful year in CSU's CEO Club history.

Finally Ms. Rowe is a very hard working individual. As you know from her resume she has juggled
several different volunteer engagements, work experiences, and school at the same time. She is able to
multi-task without impacting the integrity of the work she is doing.

I would highly recommend Briana Rowe for employment within your company. I have no doubt she will
be as strong of a representative for your company as she has been for Colorado State. Without
reservation I can say she is in the top 2% of students that I have had the opportunity to be engaged with.
Please let me know if I can provide further information.

Sincerely,

Dr. Dawn R. DeTienne
