In the mid-1980's Bruce Green was promoting a major world-class tourism attraction "Madinat Al Khayal" (City of Imagination) to be based in Bahrain. In 1986 a bridge was completed linking this Island nation to the mainland of Saudi Arabia. In the 80's Bahrain was competing with Dubai to become the regional stop-over for international air travel. Since Bahrain did not to invest in their future tourism industry in the 80's, Dubai since captured the dominant market share. These pictures include some of the original artist's renderings of the "Medinat Al Khayal" concept as well as photos of a recent (2007) visit to Bahrain and Dubai. Bruce Green is now utilizing his experience in promoting a tourism attraction called "Little Kabul" in Fremont California.
