The Lawrenceville Planning Commission hosted a Community Appreciation Day event at the newly built pavilion in Melvin W. Davis Park on August 17, 2013. Members of the Planning Commission and volunteers set up for the event in the morning, which included providing food like hot dogs and snacks and activities for kids like piñatas. It was a successful day of fellowship within the community and the Borough Council and Planning Commission thanked everyone who helped make the event possible.
