3. To come to the LMC ...
1. You must always have an eHallpass to
enter the Library Media Center.
2. You must have your ID to check out.
3. To use a computer, pass from teacher
must indicate computer use.
4. When entering the LMC
individually please use the...
1. Tap in “SCAN your ID” box.
2. Scan ID using Scanner above the sign.
3. Tap Submit.
4. Tap Submit another response.
Students do not have to sign
in when visiting with a class.

This is YOUR LIBRARY! Please
help us keep it organized.
ALWAYS leave the books on the
shelf standing and in correct order.
DO NOT leave books on the floor.
8. • If you do not know where a book “lives”
on the shelf, please place it on top of the
shelves or on the burgundy cart.
• If the MC is closed, books can be returned
in either drop-box located outside the
library doors or by the staircase.
• When returning books inside the MC:
Place books in the return slot on the
circulation desk.

9. Fiction books are shelved by Genre
and then are in alphabetical order by the
author's last name.

11. eBooks and Audio Books
eBooks and Digital Audio Books can be
found through Destiny Discover and read
or listened to on a computer or mobile
device. You should have a hard copy of the
book to read along while listening to
audiobooks.
12. Accelerated Reader
• Books are marked with AR stickers on the
spine. Book Level & Points and Lexile Levels
are inside the front cover.
• You may ONLY take AR quizzes in your
Reading classroom or in one of the
Resource classrooms with teacher present.
13. Checking Out
Students may check out 2 books for a period of
2 weeks. You may renew your books if you
need more time.
• Students who have overdue books or
lost/damage fines may NOT check out
additional books until fine is paid.
• A list of Overdues are sent to reading
teachers daily.
• DO NOT check out books for others!
14. Checking out books at the
Circulation Desk:
1. Scan your ID barcode.
2. Scan barcode on each book.
3. Place receipt inside book.
15. DO NOT REMOVE DUST JACKETS,
BARCODES OR BOOK POCKETS FROM
BOOKS.
Students will be charged $1.00 for each
damaged or missing cover, barcode or
book pocket.
Lost or damaged-beyond-repair
books must be paid for at cost.
