What are QGIS plugins?
Addtional QGIS module installed to introduce new functionalities .i.e
geoprocessing, web mapping, GIS cloud, RS imagery
classification and database management.

7. Installing Plugins in QGIS
There are 2 ways that you can install QGIS plugins.
QGIS Desktop interface.
Download the plugins and copy them to the plugins folder.
8. Enabling core Plugins in QGIS
To open the Plugin Manager, click on the menu item
Plugins Manage and Install Plugins.‣
In the dialog that opens, find your core plugin of interest &
enable it:
9. Installing Plugins in QGIS
To install new plugins, open the Plugin Manager, click on
the menu item Plugins Manage and Install Plugins and‣
select get more.
You can find a plugin by typing its name on the search and
it will appear in the list.
The plugin is installed by clicking on it and selecting Install
Plugin.
10. Using the Table Manager Plugin
1. Install Table manager
2. Load a vector layer
3. Select shapefile to change properties
4. Select table manager from the plugins menu
5. Change attributes of the shapefile as you desire
12. Using the OpenLayers Plugin
1. Install the OpenLayers Plugin
2. Start a QGIS project
3. Change properties to fit the web map layer
4. Add vector layer
5. Add base layer (map)
6. Move the map below other layers
7. Change the transparency of the layers on top for a clear
map view
13. Using the QGIS Cloud Plugin
1. Install QGIS Cloud Plugin
2. Install OpenLayers Plugin
3. Sign up for QGIS Cloud Account
4. Login to QGIS cloud via the QGIS desktop plugin
5. Create a map & Publish
6. View map in browser
7. Access the map, make any changes and publish the update
map!!
14. Using the QGIS2leaf Plugin
1. Install QGIS2leaf
2. Load vector layer
3. Create a column for categories to be used in web map
4. Style your vector layer according to the categories
5. Export vector layer to create interactive web map
