1. MY STORY

2. Before I started the MCBS Program I
was a DJ for local night clubs all around
Eastern North Carolina

3. I had always thought I wanted to DJ
and be an airbrush artist.

4. I have always been really creative and
found that these professions brought
out the fun creative side in me

5. But then I started working at a local
radio station.

6. I watched the in’s and out’s of things
and the different jobs related to the
radio station.

7. Because of that I realized there was
more to the music industry then just
playing music.

8. So much went into coordinating and
advertising for the station it was work
but work I found a lot of fun.

9. Because of that I started coming in
when I wasn’t scheduled just to learn
new jobs.

10. I worked hard and worked my way up
to assistant program director.

11. Because of that I started exploring all
the different jobs in broadcast media.

12. I saw all the possibilities and
opportunities.

13. Until finally I thought why not go to
school and do what I love.

14. I decided to get more education and
started my journey in broadcast media
at Full Sail University.

15. And ever since I decided to pursue my
passion for media I see a future in a
field that I am passionate about and
love.

16. To get paid for something that is fun
and that I love is a dream come true
and a true blessing.
