1. Homework Term 2 Week 8
1. SPELLING: Learn your spelling words.
Draw up 4 columns in your homework book. Give each
column a heading of nouns, verbs, adjectives and
adverbs. Sort the spelling words of the week into the
correct column.
(Use your dictionary to help if you get stuck!)
Remember:
A noun is a naming word ie. The…. or a……
A verb is an action process ie. doing, being or having word.
An adjective describes a noun.
An adverb tells how, when, where or why.
2. MATHS: (a) Complete the Math’s sheet in your homework
book.
AND
(b) Write out the 3x AND 4x tables. THEN turn
them around and make them into fraction equations.
eg. 4 x 5 = 20 1/4 X 20 = 5
4 X 3=12 1/4X 12 = 3
3 x 10 = 30 1/3 x 30 = 10
3. SCIENCE: Bring in the materials for your Science
experiment. A glove and then whatever your group has
decided. Remember we have most of the materials at school.
4. READING : Your should be thinking about your
RIBIT project. DUE Friday Week 9.
