Dear Year Seven Parents,
We are trialling a reduced homework format this term.
The grid will continue with spelling and basic facts. The specific Maths and English
tasks have been removed. We intend that students will use homework time to
complete 2-3 R.I.B.I.T. tasks during the term as well as some research and
preparation for their major Integrated Unit assessment task on Globalisation.
Students may also be expected to complete unfinished school tasks at home as
necessary.
We ask that you continue to monitor the homework your child does, and help them
in planning and maintaining a regular commitment to their work. By checking and
signing your student’s homework diary each week, and using the diary for
messages, we can help them to develop good habits for the future.
