1. On TV there is a program that many had seen before, and it was the top 10 ways human
existance will end. A decent amount of the possibilities are likely: One mentioning
Nuclear War, others talking about an infectious disease or virus, some still mentioning
lesser possibilities like asteroid impacts and black holes. Every one of those reasons is
logical. But the #1 possibility is a lie, no matter how likely it may seem.
The program claimed that Global Warming was most likely, and that the human race will
die off in as soon as 2 generations. It spoke of the Greenhouse Gases, which supposedly
are over-insulating the Earth, and trapping more heat from the Sun, and that if enough of
these Greenhouse Gases are in the atmosphere, that temperatures will rise to deadly
heights.
None of it is true, and for this debate I will prove that wrong, but also provide another
reason as to how the Greenhouse Gases can be dangerous.
Just look. 30 years ago, everyone was hyping about Global Cooling, and if you don't
believe me, look at the dates on the two magazines!
2. And isn't it amazing how they use the same picture for the two opposites? I know, it is.
So thirty years ago, the world was talking about the Ice Age that didn't exist. And then,
thirty years later, claims of temperatures reaching unimaginable heights rid all
magazines. The world doesn't just suddenly head from uninhabitable freezing
temperatures to the exact opposite in 3 decades. So therefore a pattern is noticeable.
About every three decades, the world climate reverses. So, around 1970, the world started
warming, but then, around 2000, the world climate reversed, and so now the world is
cooling. And, ironically, the TIME magazine about Global Cooling was published in
1977, and the Global Warming byest movie, An Inconvenient Truth, was released in
2007. So I highly encourage everyone to ignore everything that releases in 2037 about
Global Cooling and Ice Ages!
So yes, Al Gore, the main enforcer of Global Warming, is lying. But that doesn't mean
3. that his motives are wrong.
Greenhouse Gases are very harmful to the air quality in which we live in. Right now the
air quality is containing more and more greenhouse gases, and that may not necessarily
be good for us. Humans breathe oxygen, and oxygen is not a greenhouse gas. So as the
amount of greenhouse gases go up, then oxygen goes down....
And to worsen everything, humans are cutting down rainforests and the amount of plants
in the world, which breathe greenhouse gases, are going down. So basically, unless we
take action, we may be in a bad situation.
But it's not as drastic as Global Warming's theory is, and much more logical. So if the
show said we could die of bad air quality, I'd believe that, although it probably shouldn't
be #1.
All in all, don't believe anyone that says Global Warming is real, because the Greenhouse
Gases and the temperature have no correlation, but if someone speaks of bad air quality,
then that is a possibility. So converting to cleaner energies are great things, but don't
think there's a time bomb ticking, because there's not.
