General two-column layout.
Profile information is accessible in upper right portion of the page via a
drop down menu functionality similar to what you would see on
Facebook.com and MSNBC.com as examples.
Logo area in upper left of the page to display Dell branding with a slight
emphasis on Wal-mart branding.
Main navigation buttons: 'Share', 'Discuss' and 'See'. Clicking 'Share'
button will allow the user to enter their idea into a simple form. Clicking
'Discuss' will display all the shared ideas submitted and allow the users
to discuss amongst themselves around these ideas as well as vote on
ideas. Clicking 'See' will display the ideas and thoughts from Dell and
Wal-mart under review, coming soon, launched, etc.
The top portion of the page utilizes a creative banner or possible flash
use.
To the right of the banner area is an area to highlight ideas and thoughts
of Dell and Wal-mart that are under review, coming soon, launched, etc.;
content the same as what you would find under the 'See' section of the
site.
Sort options ('Most Recent', 'Most Voted' and 'Most Commented') are
above the listing of discussions on the page.
Discussions that are related to responses would display a notification
box that would also link the user to the response details to learn more.
Right column of the page is dedicated to a search area text box, listing of
categories, polling, latest news, etc.
Footer area is utilized to link to content related to about the site, contact
information, terms and conditions, privacy policy, etc.

Google Maps is a concept to allow a graphical way to allow the user to
interact and pinpoint certain geographic areas and discover what users
are discussing in and around those areas. The user could click on brief
user discussion 'bubble' to read more details and comment if necessary.
The right of the Google Maps is an area to highlight ideas and thoughts
of Dell and Wal-mart that are under review, coming soon, launched, etc.;
content the same as what you would find under the 'See' section of the
site. This example also shows an internal video response to a discussion
thread.

This example shows the profile information which is accessible in upper
right portion of the page via a drop down menu functionality. Drop down
options include a link to edit the user's profile information, view activity,
view favorite discussions and a link to view groups the user belongs to
(future feature).
The top portion of the page indicates to the user that they are on the
'Share' page. There is also additional real estate to provide copy to
inform the user on the purpose of this page (example: Share your ideas
on how to improve Dell's products and services at Wal-mart.).
Clicking the 'Share' button within the site will allow the user to enter their
idea into a simple form shown on this page. The user will enter the
discussion title, choose a relevant category (this area could also be
modified to allow for check boxes to allow for multiple category
selections) and input their thoughts.
Should the user choose to preview their entry before submitting the user
would click the preview CTA button, a modal window would pop up
displaying their entry for review.
The right portion of the page includes an area to provide copy to help
assist the user in completing the form.
