• Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT
resources over the Internet with pay-as-you-go pricing.
Instead of buying, owning, and maintaining physical data
centers and servers, you can access technology services,
such as computing power, storage, and databases, on an
as-needed basis from a cloud provider like Amazon Web
Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform and many more.
• Organizations of every type, size, and industry are using
the cloud for a wide variety of use cases, such as data
backup, disaster recovery, email, virtual desktops,
software development and testing, big data analytics, and

• Father of AI - John McCarthy
• “Artificial intelligence” is a broad term that refers to any
type of computer software that engages in humanlike
activities – including learning, planning and problem-
solving.
• It makes decisions on its own, that’s able to act even in
situations not foreseen by the programmers. Artificial
intelligence has a wider latitude of decision-making ability
as opposed to traditional software.
• Organizations of every type, size, and industry are using
the cloud for a wide variety of use cases, such as data
12. MACHINE
LEARNING
• Machine learning is a subfield of AI that enables systems
to learn and improve from experience without being
explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on
developing computer programs that can access data and
use it to learn for themselves.
• The machine learning process begins with observations or
data, such as examples, direct experience or instruction. It
looks for patterns in data so it can later make inferences
based on the examples provided. The primary aim of ML
is to allow computers to learn autonomously without

13. DEEP LEARNING
• Deep Learning is just a type of Machine Learning,
inspired by the structure of a human brain. Deep learning
algorithms attempt to draw similar conclusions as humans
would by continually analyzing data with a given logical
structure. To achieve this, deep learning uses a multi-
layered structure of algorithms called neural networks.
• In deep learning, a computer model learns to perform
classification tasks directly from images, text, or sound.
Deep learning models can achieve state-of-the-art
accuracy, sometimes exceeding human-level performance.
Models are trained by using a large set of labeled data and

15. NATURAL LANGUAGE
PROCESSING
• Natural language processing (NLP) is the ability of a
computer program to understand human language as it is
spoken and written -- referred to as natural language.
• NLP enables computers to understand natural language as
humans do. Whether the language is spoken or written,
natural language processing uses artificial intelligence to
take real-world input, process it, and make sense of it in a
way a computer can understand. Just as humans have
different sensors -- such as ears to hear and eyes to see --
computers have programs to read and microphones to
collect audio. And just as humans have a brain to process
that input, computers have a program to process their
