GOING: THE MISSIONARY FARMER Psalms 126:6
Psalms 126:6 6 He who continually goes forth weeping,          Bearing seed for sowing,          Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,          Bringing his sheaves with him.
A. THE FARMER'S OPPORTUNITY His opportunity is to farm and have a harvest.
1. The farmer must be Selfless ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
2. The farmer must also sacrifice "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." - John 9:4
To see a harvest we must sacrifice … ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
“ We are willing to be inconvenienced for the sake of reaching the lost.”
Whatever it takes: ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
B. THE FARMER'S OUTLOOK
A. WE MUST BE SOWING GOD'S MESSAGE
B. WE MUST ALSO BE SOWING GOD'S MINISTRY
Matthew 9:35-38 (HCSB) 35 Then Jesus went to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. 36 When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because
Matthew 9:35-38 (HCSB) they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
