Betsy Anderson redesigned all print materials for The Philadelphia Foundation to better reflect its branding and market the organization as a whole rather than being donor-centric. She developed new outreach materials on planned giving and oversaw the production of web content and white papers analyzing data from a nonprofit study. Anderson launched the foundation's social media presence including its Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Razoo pages. She also coordinated redesign of the foundation's website and wrote monthly newsletters.

Print Materials
Rewrote and redesigned all information packet materials to reflect updated branding and to market the
organization as a whole (rather than being exclusively donor-centric). Three separate but related packets
now speak directly to prospective donors, to wealth managers and to nonprofits considering establishing
an endowment fund.
Developed new specific outreach materials on planned giving, charitable gift annuities, community
impact (field of interest) discretionary funds, gifts of tangible assets,donor FAQs and a family
philanthropy conversation guide in conjunction with foundation initiatives.
White Papers and Commentaries
Edited and oversaw production of nonprofit study web section encapsulating results of data gathered by
the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia.
Edited and disseminated white papers building on data gleaned in the Economy League study
concerning nonprofit governance and challenges of the nonprofit fiscal model.
Ghost-wrote commentaries and op-eds on emerging nonprofit leaders, health care reform,the fiscal
cliff, educational tax credits and the charitable tax deduction.
Social and Online Media
Oversaw development of social media policy, trained staff on its implementation.
Launched the foundation’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages, ongoing management of content including
infographics. Currently 1,000+ page likes.
Launched the foundation’s YouTube channel after managing production of donor videos.
Launched foundation’s presence on Razoo fund-raising site after developing appropriate internal
policies and practices.
Coordinated redesign of organization’s web site, including all copy writing, development of
navigational path and creation of original infographics.
Write and/or edit monthly e-newsletters for donors and for professional advisors, manage the
foundation’s Constant Contact inventory.
Managed shoot for video hosted on T-brand (New York Times) web site that promotes ongoing impact
of Ben Franklin Trust funds. Partnered with producer and videographer commissioned by Franklin
Templeton investments, with SEPTA personnel to scout and schedule location, and with Philadelphia
Futures personnel to identify and guide the featured student.

subsidiary of the foundation.

the elderly; column on scholarship recipient who had overcome significant adversity; giving circles;

of training pipeline for students interested in biomedical careers.
