Beth Karlin is the Founder and Director of the Transformational Media Lab within the Center for Unconventional Security Affairs (CUSA) as well as a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Social Ecology, with a dual emphasis on Psychology and Public Policy. Her research focuses on integrating psychological insights into the design, implementation, and evaluation of social and environmental programs, with a focus on the use of technology and new media. Current projects investigate technology-enabled energy feedback, transmedia social action campaigns, and the communication of climate science to the public.
