Mexico has almost since its Spanish colonial years always had a trade agreement going on with other Latin American countries and the Carribean. Former President Vicente Fox made a new policy in Mexico that said that Mexico would now begin to pay closer attention to disagreements from the International Community. President Calderon pays especially close attention to other Latin American countries and the Carribbean in his foreign relations policies.
