Key Result Areas:
 Taking stringentquality measures including preparation ofnecessary documents to ensure compliance with above standards &
customer requirements
 Conducting internal audits (NABL audits) periodically to assess the status of deployment of systems and taking corrective
measures for achieving organizational objectives
 Accountable for:
o Ensuring corrective actions are taken for any non-compliance work; documenting preventive actions
o Issuing policies & procedures to the lab staff and ensure current versions of procedures are in place for usage
 Overseeing wide gamut of tasks involved in laboratory operations; handling calibration of lab equipment
 Ensuring adherence to quality standards; implementing & monitoring QC lab safety standards & undertaking quality data entry
and record keeping
 Reviewing SOP’s/technical specifications /batch manufacturing record /validation protocols, validation reports and other quality
documents
 Maintaining quality standards, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps & takin g
corrective action; enrolling for proficiency testing material and ensuring timely participation of PT evaluations
 Providing suggestions for novel approaches; designing lab processes to the lab managementand assisting in the implementation
of these approaches
 Responsible for identifying,documenting and reporting findings;communicating the findings to the Auditee, Head of the Division
and Quality Manager, where resolution of audit findings is inadequate
 Receiving EQAS/ILC sample; also maintaining chain of custody; reviewing & forwarding results to EQAS/ILC provider
 Actively involved in:
o Issuing forms, log books, SOPs and document of external origin to CRL
o Reviewing quality indicators logs, IQC summary and SOP master list
o Compiling data and generating graphics from the same
 Instituting corrective & preventive actions, as a result of internal/external audits and continuous improvement process, ther eby
ensuring their implementation
 Partnering with customers,third party auditors,EQAS/ILC providers and accrediting bodies; reporting EQAS samples from CAP,
AIIMS, etc.
 Reviewing external PT reports in consultation with HOD; also entering QC values in Unity software, review of IQC data and
taking appropriate corrective actions in case of QC failure
 Creating validation/verification protocols and performing the validation experiments
 Participating in performing maintenance and calibration of equipments & pipettes
 Directing, leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operationa l
