Identity theft is the highest when it comes getting personal information. Hacking is how people get private information. Malware is a type of software program that is very harmful to something.
Although a number of threats exist when using public WiFi hotspots, there are several ways you can protect yourself and your computer. Just be careful on where you set your private information at, someone could find it.
Strong passwords make it harder to be hacked into. Check emails to make sure that don’t have and anything you don’t need. Watch when you shop online you put private information up, when buying items.
Watch who your kids talk to online, they may be taking to people they don’t know. Block the inappropriate contact, because kids may not know what some they watching or seeing. Set limits to downloads, because they may not know what they are download to begin with.
Making a password is 8 characters will make it harder for a hacker to get personal information. Don’t ever use complete word, real name or company's name, because the hacker will know where to target you and use your private information for identify thief.
