4. ANCIENT EQUIPMENTS....
The Ancient days
were not that much
sophisticated in any
aspect of life..
So, if there was any
conflict between two
kingdoms the people
used the warfare that
was technologically
independent as
shown...
5. MEDIEVAL EQUIPMENTS...
It is due to the
initiation of technical
skills in Western world..
There were small range
Rifles ,Missiles in order
to destroy the
neighbouring nations as
shown..
From this period the
countries all over the
world started developing
their personal Warheads.
6. MODERN EQUIPMENTS...
At the end of the
Medieval period all the
nations were at some Pace
to build a road against the
Modernisation of
Battlefields..
There were several war
equipments that came into
existence like Assault
Rifles,Machine Guns
,Guided Missiles..
7. ARTILLARY TANKS....
These highly
revolutionized the fate of
the Battle fields..
The rate of getting
damaged is too low for
them as they have strong
outline..
The accuracy of
reaching target is also
appreciable ...
11. INDIAN “MISSILE” TECHNOLOGY
The use of the Rockets in India dates back to
18th century..
They are also called MYSOREAN rockets for
the military use.
It came to existence in late 1950’s under the
political leadership of our Late P.M Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru..
In order to that our Former President
Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam took the responsibility of
designing the Missiles to our nation through
12. MISSILE MAN OF “INDIA"
Bharata Ratna
Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam is
popularly known as the
“Missile Man of India..”
He is the one of the
persons who administrated
in designing the Modern
Missiles of India.
His Missile systems are
...Prithvi,Agni,Akash,Nag,
Nirbhay, etc.,,
13. ...ROCKET vs MISSILE...
•A power guided vehicle
that is sent into space for
transporting some kind of
machinery is called
ROCKET..
•A power guided object
that is thrown on some
target is called MISSILE.
•Derived from Latin word
‘Mittere’ means “to send”
14. “PRITHVI” MISSILE SYSTEM
It means Earth ,developed by Defence Research
Development Organisation under I.G.M.D.P in
1983 for the production of the wide range
Missiles...
It is the first Missile system developed by this
organisation..
All the missiles were constructed by Bharath
Dynamics Limited.....,
It has Prithvi I,II,III variants....
15. PRITHVI“1”
It has the range of target of about 150 km...
It can carry a warhead of about 1000 kg ...
In 1994 it was test fired and given to Indian Army
16. PRITHVI “II”
It has the range of
target of
about 250 km..
It can carry a
warhead of about 500
kg...
In 1996 it was given
to the Indian Air Force
version by I.G.M.D.P...
17. PRITHVI “III”
350 km..
It can also carry a
warhead of about 1000 kg
like Prithvi”I”...
It has been inducted to
the Indian Naval
versions in 2004..
One interesting fact
about this missile is that it
is also called
“Dhanush”...
18. “AGNI” MISSILE SYSTEM
It means “Fire”.In the intention to increase the
accuracy of the Guided missile Prithvi the I.G.M.D.P
has took a decision to develop the new system
called “Agni Missile System”...
These have the longer range of accuracy, than that
of “Prithvi”...
It has the variants like Agni I,II,III,IV,V,VI
Among these the test fired are Agni I,II,III,IV,V...
21. AGNI “I”
It is the Medium Range Ballistic missile
developed by D.R.D.O , B.D.L ., with range of
700-1250 km
It weighs upto 12,000 kg ,length 15 m and
immense warhead. And it can acquire velocity of
22. AGNI “II”
It is the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile
developed by D.R.D.O with a range of 2,000-
3,500 km.
It weighs upto 16,000 kg, length 21 m and huge
Warhead and it can acquire velocity upto 3.5
23. AGNI”III”
It is the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile
developed by D.R.D.O with a range of 3,500-
5,000 km.
It weighs upto 48,000 kg ,length 17 m and
Warhead of 25 tonnes. It can reach upto 3.5
24. AGNI”IV”
It is also the Intermediate Range Ballistic
Missile developed by D.R.D.O with a range of ‘>
5,000 km’..
It weighs 22,000 kg length 20 m and carry a
Warhead of 8 tonnes and can reach upto 2.5
kmps..
25. AGNI”V”
It is the Intercontinental
Ballistic Missile developed
by D.R.D.O with range of
5,500-8,000 km..and reaches
3 kmps..
It weighs 49,000 kg ,length
17.5 m..
Comparitive to other
missiles it has the higher
target accuracy.
It was recently test fired in
26.
27. “AGNI” MISSILES IN OTHER
MODELS
At present there are
different models of
“AGNI” missiles...
“Agni VI” is one of
those models.
But it is not yet
designed ..
Experts are expecting
that it it would be
prepared by 2017...!
28. BRAHMOS.....
“Brahmos” is the missile that was designed by the
combined efforts of “INDIA and RUSSIA”....
It is the first missile designed by India abroad....
29. AKASH...
It means “SKY” ..
It is the surface to air
missile system..
It was developed by
D.R.D.O,Bharat
Electronics(B.E.L)..
It can target upto 30 km..
It is in still operational
condition since 2009...
30.
31. OTHER MISSILES...
•These are the two
smallest missiles
“NIRBHAI.,NAAG”..
•These are developed by
Indian Armed Forces..
•They were test fired in
the recent years....
36. ....ADVANTAGES IN TODAY-WORLD....
First and fore most purpose of any
Missile is target destruction..
In other ways it is used in locating the
enemy targets and destroying them..
They can have the wide range capability
of reaching their targets ..
They can be projected either from
ground or from marine systems or from the
air craft systems based on the required
condition..
They can carry a largerWar head than in
any other form..
37. IN ORDER TO CONCLUDE THAT.....
It is happy to see that the
world is moving like a Missile in
the Science and Technology..
But it doesn’t mean that we
can damage our environment as we
have seen..
Our best advice
should be in order to develop and
design them in such a way that
they should reduce the intensity of
every kind of pollution atleast from
now onwards....................!!!!!!!
