INTRODUCTION
EMPLOYEE/ LABOR WELFARE:
The term employee or labor welfare is a broad term which comprises of

to such an extent that they do not leave the organization for long time.
The measures taken for employee welfare can be both in cash or kind.
According to Arthur James Todd, “labor welfare means anything done
for the comfort and improvement, intellectual or social, of the
employees over and above the wages paid which is not necessity of the
industry”.
According to ILO Report, “labor welfare means such services, facilities,

PRODUCTPROFILE
Gate valve
Oswal gate valves are heavy
duty, outside screw & yoke
type, bolted bonnet, rising stem
with non-rising hand wheel.
Straight through bore design
assurances minimum
turbulence, erosion and
resistance to flow. The most
advantage design features
provides the ultimate in
dependable, economic flow
control.
Global valve
They are available in wide
range of sizes and weights.
These are widely suited for
high pressure and temperature
and variety of fluids. Globe
valves are generally considered
where moderate control or
regulation of flow is required.
But required much force to
operate compared to gate
valves.
Check valve
Oswal check valves are heavy
duty, bolted cover, renewable
seat ring, and body mounted
disc swing type. Valves are
straight through flow which
works automatically. They are
opened by the force of velocity
pressure and closed by the
force of gravity and back
pressure. The valves are single
direction flow and restrains
flow in opposite direction.
Trunnion mounted ball valve
It is the result of innovative
engineering. It embodies all the
quality, performance, value
and safety features required for
critical applications. In this
valve, the ball rotates without
moving on the horizontal axis,
whereas seats are floating and
free to move on the same axis.
Cryogenic valve
The cryogenic valves are
installed on applications
involving the production,
transport and storage of
liquefied gases such as oxygen,
nitrogen, argon, natural gas,
hydrogen or helium down to -
254‫ﹾ‬ c. The cryogenic tests are
performed in fully equipped
in-house facilities.
Pressure seal valve
Oswal high pressure valves
(pressure seal type) offer high
performance, reliability and
safety. The valves are especially
suitable for high pressure and
high temperature applications
in steam, oil and gas
processing, power industry and
in the chemical and
petrochemical industry.
Fugitive emission valve
Most of the focus regarding
fugitive emission in valves
relates to valve stem packing.
Less attention is paid to the
bolted joints in a valve. Valves
can have many as 5 bolted
joints-two-end flanges, 2
body-to-end adapter flanges
and bonnet flange. These are
potentially a significant source
of fugitive emission.
Nuclear valve
To meet the country’s growing
demand of nuclear qualified
valves, oswal industries ltd. has
also decided to venture into
this field by developing the
prototype valve as a technology
development project for
nuclear qualification.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This company valve design meets seismic test requirements for nuclear
zone V.
- In-housing laboratory & testing facilities are supported with
spectrometer, UTM, impact testing, pyrometer, hardness testing,
micro structural analyzer, ultrasonic, magnetic particle
inspection, dye penetration, radiography and pressure testing
facilities, PMI, fire safe, cryogenic testing, helium leak detection,
black light testing for oxygen service & cleaning.
The company monitors the performance of our products at the
customer sites. We give due consideration to the feedback from clients
for constant improvement and up gradation.
Oswal R & D wing is well equipped with required infrastructure to
arrive at an optimum product design to meet customer requirement.
Oswal industries ltd. engineers at R & D have the required expertise to
check the product attribute well before its physical procurement.

  • 12. PRODUCTPROFILE Gate valve Oswal gate valves are heavy duty, outside screw & yoke type, bolted bonnet, rising stem with non-rising hand wheel. Straight through bore design assurances minimum turbulence, erosion and resistance to flow. The most advantage design features provides the ultimate in dependable, economic flow control.
  • 13. Global valve They are available in wide range of sizes and weights. These are widely suited for high pressure and temperature and variety of fluids. Globe valves are generally considered where moderate control or regulation of flow is required. But required much force to operate compared to gate valves. Check valve Oswal check valves are heavy duty, bolted cover, renewable seat ring, and body mounted disc swing type. Valves are straight through flow which works automatically. They are opened by the force of velocity pressure and closed by the force of gravity and back pressure. The valves are single direction flow and restrains flow in opposite direction.
  • 14. Trunnion mounted ball valve It is the result of innovative engineering. It embodies all the quality, performance, value and safety features required for critical applications. In this valve, the ball rotates without moving on the horizontal axis, whereas seats are floating and free to move on the same axis. Cryogenic valve The cryogenic valves are installed on applications involving the production, transport and storage of liquefied gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, natural gas, hydrogen or helium down to - 254‫ﹾ‬ c. The cryogenic tests are performed in fully equipped in-house facilities.
  • 15. Pressure seal valve Oswal high pressure valves (pressure seal type) offer high performance, reliability and safety. The valves are especially suitable for high pressure and high temperature applications in steam, oil and gas processing, power industry and in the chemical and petrochemical industry. Fugitive emission valve Most of the focus regarding fugitive emission in valves relates to valve stem packing. Less attention is paid to the bolted joints in a valve. Valves can have many as 5 bolted joints-two-end flanges, 2 body-to-end adapter flanges and bonnet flange. These are potentially a significant source of fugitive emission.
