PERSONAL STATEMENT
Growing up, I spent most of my time focusing on my academic performance and I was never a fan
of fashion till the age of 18. The high school I attended had a very strict dress code and every
student must wear a full set of uniform, including a shirt, a jacket and long trousers, which led me to
less or none exposure to the fashion industry.
Because of my outstanding performance in high school, I was qualified to be exempted from
university entrance exam. I recommended by my high school for the direct admission to Zhejiang
University. Being exempted from the exam means I got extra six months of vacation compare to
other students of my age. After taking off my high school uniform, I started traveling around the
world which gave me the chance to see so many luxurious designer brands. At first, I was attracted by
their exquisite appearance but then I began to understand the meanings and stories behind each
brand and design concept.
Once again because of my outstanding performance at Zhejiang University, I was unanimously
elected as the president of the student council of the School Foreign Languages. During this year, I

Personal Statement : High School
In high school all freshman 's were taken on a trip upstate to Camp Ramapo, of course everyone
was excited to go, little did we know we were all in for a surprise. Upon arrival we all realized that
our cellphones had no service we all thought it would be a momentary situation, turns out it was not.
We would spend 3 nights and 4 days disconnected from the world, no Facebook, at the time aim, or
text messaging. I remember we were all shocked and mad at the thought of not being able to use
our phones. The trip started off poorly everyone seemed disinterested in participating in activities,
so the camp consolers decided that we would all break off into small groups. It all appeared to be
pointless because still no one was willing to participate in the activities, but suddenly we were all
asked to share our names and something interesting about ourselves. After we had all shared
things changed suddenly, I personally began interacting with people who I had not spoken to at
all throughout my first semester which was shocking since I had class with most of them. After
the 4 days were over, I came to the realization that those had been the best days of my life. I was
able to meet new people even though they weren 't necessary new in my eyes, I participated in
activities I had never done before, and most of all I wasn 't so worried about who had and hadn 't

Personal Statement: What I Learn From High School
I will be more candid and I will make sure I am well–known throughout my grade. I will become
more oriented with clubs and I will try and even get into sports to become even more known. I

Being involved in school, not only shows a well–rounded student but a student who loves being part

Personal Statement For High School
This is Mary McLeod Bethune School of North Lawndale in Chicago, and I am the new principle
this year. Due to the poor economy around the school, things have been left to the way side, but I
pray help give some hope back. Students are set back and 8th grade for some are their big
celebration but I want to see them graduate high school. I want to be sitting in the audience at high

The children will be with other children closer to their age and maybe lessen the amount of bullying
that can happen with age and size differences. The next issue that I want to address is the reading
levels in upper grades.
I hope to encourage reading with focusing on vocabulary and spelling and monthly reading goals.
Being able to see words and knowing the meaning is important but also the time spent reading is
important. They have seen the words before and then they have the meaning which informs their
understanding of the material. I will also encourage audio books while reading a book while fiction
or non fiction. The students will be able to hear the words as well as see them and put them to
together.
I will establish a monthly reading goals at the school. I will give the students and teachers freedom
in the goals, but also have a school–wide goal. Each book with have points based on difficulty and
also depend on the students. If a younger student reads a higher reading level book, they would
get the same points as a student in a higher grade. Either the points will be posted and/or be on
stickers in the books. It will also be encourage that the student's parents are involved in the process,
and for the points to count they will have to tell the teacher or other staff about the book. I will also
hopefully be able to encourage older students to practice reading with a younger students. Maybe
have a minimum of how many book must be read to a younger

In my upcoming high school years I hope to try new things and push my comfort zone, strengthen

Everyone has their own opinion on what they should do after high school whether that be college,
