Norway and Kongsberg inscription
The Kongsberg inscription was identified in the form “SOT QA” by Norwegian linguist Mr. Kjell
Aartun [1], and implemented according to a pellasgic alphabet [2], [3]. I have seen these two
proposals and found them to be accurate readings of the inscription. However, I would like it to
pursue the linguistic analysis a little further.
First, it is necessary that the language analysis of this script relates each symbol and data to the rules
of linguistic grammar. Second, it is important, because the script was found in a place dedicated to a
cult object, to determine the precise content of the inscription above it. When reading symbols it is
essential to deliver them using the right diction. The letter S is pronounced like “school”, but when
followed by an accompanying vowel (a, e, i, u) it is pronounced as Z in “zebra”. The letters “O” and
“T” are the same as in English. The symbol “Q” is a letter in most Indo-European languages, and can
be read as “K” (Q = kju or kja), although in Albanian the letter represents the consonant sound “K” as
in “like”; thus “Q” = “K”.
The letter “A” has the same value in the inscription as the vowel “A” in English (as in “A” for
“America”). Based on these evaluations it can be concluded that the inscription reads “ZOT KA” in
Albanian, and “GOD EXIST” in English. The fact that this inscription was found in a cult place
further confirms the above content of the inscription.
It is thought that the place could have served as port-transit for people arriving; therefore,when
people arrive they pray to God in thanks for guarding them during their journey [4]. It is probable that
the travelers were people belonging to Atlantic culture and those who traversed the ocean to arrive at
a continent where they would be named “white Indians” [5].
The Norics of Noricum [6] were Illyrian people who migrated to the north of the continent, forced
there by the pressure of barbarian tribes moving along the east-west road. Etymologically, the name
“Norway” is could be derived from Albanian. Norway, which sounds like “Norvej” in Albanian is
formed by two words: “Nor” + “vej” (verb). In Albanian “vej” means “to come” and in Albanian
indicates movement.
The same name can also be analysed etymologically, as the name “Noric (k)” = “Nor” + “ic” where C
sounds like K, and “ik” in Albanian means “to go” in English. Noric, is a name formed from two
words and associated with the verb “ik”, which also indicates movement. Therefore this word is
formed from both the name “NOR” and the verb “Ik”. “Ik” in Albanian means “to go” in English, but
can also be identified from the same root with the same name; as the name “NOR” is associated with
the verb “Ik” (to go), and “vej” (to come).
Also the name “NORGE” = “NOR”+ “GE” indicating the same roots; where GE can be read as
“GJE” in Albanian (derived from - “gjej”). “GE” could be read as “ge” in “geography” meaning
“FIND” in English. Therefore,the name NORGE (NOR+ FIND) could have the same origin as the
names Norik and Norway. This conclusion is supported by the shared ethno linguistic characteristics,
and by the known historical movements recorded circa 2500 BC, when the Celts reached the
European Atlantic coast [7].
Given the content of the phrase “NOR +FIND”, it is understood that those who travelled to the place
found people there. The NOR-S people that had come earlier, were also called Nor-s,so were from
the same family.
Based on this linguistic analysis, we surmise that the people of Noricum, and those of the Julian Alps
region, the Albans, traveled north toward the Scandinavian coasts [4] ]. It is probable that the travelers

2. were Mediterranean,who traversed the ocean to arrive at a continent where they would be named
“white Indians” [5].
