OBJECTIVES:
To contribute towards the institutional goals where I serve & want to be a part of dynamic
institution, to get professional experience while utilizing my potential for achieving
excellence and applying all that I have learned from academics, professional trainings and
experience.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
My M.Phil research topic was synthesis, Characterization, and Assessment of biological
activities of piperonal based Schiff base and its metal adducts. The Schiff base was
synthesized by the reaction of piperonal and 2-aminobenzoic acid in methanol in the
presence of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. The Schiff base metal complexes was
synthesized by the reaction of synthesized Schiff base and different kinds of metal salts in
methanol and triethylamine as catalyst. The synthesized compounds were than
characterized by various spectroscopic techniques like NMR, IR, VU-Visible, Elemental
analysis, EI-MS and then the synthesized compounds were screen for their biological
activities like anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant activities.
