2. Responsible for working on all types of drilling rigs installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing
NOV products in a shipyard environment
Mechanical completion of equipments prior to commissioning. Alignment of different types of couplings.
Responsible for commissioing and repairing hydraulic systems.
Liaise with customers, colleagues, and other NOV facilities. Interpret Engineering drawings
Responsible for creating commissioning procedures to facilitate testing of the oil drilling equipment.
Troubleshoot Hydraulic circuits, electro-mechanical components, and hydraulic systems during startup phase
Lead and assign tasks to Mechanical group on installation and commissioning aspect of the
offshore drilling equipment system. Coordinate with field engineering to come into solutions of various
filed related problems.
Perform any other task as required by the Management including relief cover for other members of staff and
attend meetings at various NOV or Customer facilities
Make sure the safekeeping and maintenance of the Company’s Test and Maintenance equipment.
Ensure required inspection and tests are carried out and completing records of successful completion of
works and approvals for hold and witness points identified on the inspection & test plan.
