It is a subsidiary studio of TimeWarner
since 1996, and was merged with larger
sister studioWarner Bros. in 2008.
New Line Cinema was famous for being
one of the film studios who helped
created both the Lord of the Rings and
Hobbit films, whilst also in recent years
creating multiple romantic films, and
sequels to already made romantic films,
like Sex andThe City andValentines
Day.
Warner Brothers Studio creates many
comedy films, and may be for the
reason in the jump of Romantic
Comedies that New Line Cinema has
created in recent years.
TimeWarner is the worlds largest media
conglomerate and has control of
multiple large media subsidiaries
3. My target audience for my Romantic film
is around the age of 16-28 year olds, with
a mostly female leaning audience.
The age is because mature audiences are
more likely to watch these films as they
can associate with the films, and can
understand the scenes of mature nature.
Romantic films have similar actors and
actresses, people who the audiences can
react well to, once they have seen them
in multiple films. For example Rachel
McAdams is a popular actress when it
comes to romantic films.
Love, life and dislike is a strong topic for
the audiences of this age range.They will
understand it more and could possibly be
going through the same as what the
characters from the film are going
through.
