Strength :-
I consider my greatest strength as Empathy. It is because I have the ability to feel and understand other's pain or emotions.
Example :-
As I work in a company, I have many people around me all the times. Sometimes due to my quality, my co employees come and discuss their issues with me. I try to help them with all my understanding level and sort things out. This also helps me to create stronger bonds with other employees.
Weakness :-
I consider my weakness as trusting people so easily. I trust people so easily by their words and don't understand their bad motives at all. So because of this I get hurt mentality and emotionally many times.
Example :-
Due to my nature I trust people around me very easily so because of this many people has taken advantage of me financially, results in the loss of money. My close friends too have taken many advantages of me by giving me their part of work to complete. I always understand their motive and evil nature after I get hurt from them.

Paul Moore
Re: Topic 2 DQ 2
I took the survey: Conceptualizing leadership
Traits – 13
Abilities – 16
Skill - 20
Behavior- 18
5. Relationship 18
Process - 19
My weakest trait is my lack of organization. I struggle with
keeping myself organized. My desk is a mess, my truck is a
mess and I know it affects my work. This is something that I am
improving on. The reason I count this as a weakness is that it
decreases my efficiency and causes undue stress on myself.
This has affected me in the past by me displacing items that I
needed for a project and I would have to recreated them or go
and get them from another team member. This affects
credibility.
One of my strengths is that I have a lot of experience in my
field. I still consider myself a student of the craft. I have
worked with people who have 20 years on the job but they
stopped learning after 1. They continue to apply their one year
of knowledge over and over and never progress. This reminds
me of the scene in the movie Backdraft where the crew is in the
kitchen. In the background is a quote on the wall. “200 years of
tradition, unimpeded by progress”. This is not me. I love to
learn and constantly challenge myself and those around me to
do so.
An example of this is when I was asked to take a staff captains
job and work in our facilities management division. I showed up
and 4 hours into the first day I was sitting in a budget meeting.
I was in over my head. I sought help and enrolled in training
and I learned. So today I am a better, more effective manager
and hopefully leader because of it.

Re: Topic 2 DQ 2
Q1. Take one of the questionnaires located in the textbook or
6. SAGE student resource site. What do you perceive as your
greatest strength?
A1. I took the Conceptualizing Leadership Questionnaire,(Sabo,
n.d.). My responses did not give me a specific emphasis on any
given strength. Below are my scores:
Trait Emphasis 15
Ability Emphasis 15
Skill Emphasis 15
Behavior Emphasis 15
Relationship Emphasis 13
Process Emphasis 14
I perceive my greatest strengths to be within the trait, ability
and skill emphasis. I think much of a successful leader is
natural talent. Like an amazing athlete, I believe that the best
leaders have a natural talent but will only reach their full
potential if the leader works hard at developing that talent.
Q2. Give an example of how your behavior in one situation
illustrated this strength.
A2. I have been blessed with the gift of being one of those
people who have a positive disposition. However, I work hard at
staying positive and focus on how I phrase the words I say, so
even if things are difficult or hard, I focus on the opportunity
not the obstacles. This encourages people to want to be around
me, seek me for advice and let me be a mentor. I have a number
of friends who are more financially successful than I, but on a
regular basis I am the one they call to discuss difficult business
decisions. Not because I am smarter, or more experienced, but
because of how I treat them, and they know I have their best
interest at heart.
Q3. What do you perceive as your greatest weakness?
A3. I sometimes desire not to seek others input. It has been my
experience that many people have opinions, which I appreciate,
but have no foundation, facts or information to back up their
statements. I lose patience with those who want a voice at the
table but are ill informed or only speak by emotion and are
unable to qualify their belief.
7. Q4. Give an example of how your behavior in one situation
illustrated this weakness.
A4. Anytime I look at social media, I literally have to hold my
tongue at the posts that are stated as fact, which I know to be
untrue. All of these people are friends, family or colleagues but
the ignorance in some of the posts, especially when they re-post
someone else's information as fact, is daunting. I have learned
that not reacting enables me to maintain that relationship for
more important discussions in the future. This is especially
important from a Christian World View, as I would never want
to say or do anything that would prevent someone from
becoming a Christian.
