- How to set a aspiration
- Responsibility must be clearly defined. It also should show what are the things to be done to get promoted to next level. This is clearly missing in many roles and responsibilities Who defines how the tree should Grow? Is that the tree or the soil in which it is planted. Define the Goal for an individual by understanding what’s their aspirational Goal. It is tough in first time. Try again. Help them arrive at the aspiration goal for them.
- 3 AM Test This is to understand whether the team member understood the roles and responsibilities of his like a muscle reflex. If the team member can say his responsibility at 3 AM sleep, that means he knows what he is doing.
- Bucket your problems. Use 5 whys to understand the problems and bucket them together. Get the team to prioritize the problem that need to be solved first and solve it.
- Train the team with their needs to achieve their Goal. Training is one crucial part of any team’s performance. Without training it is very tough for them to compete and then show commitment.
