2. WHAT DID I GET FROM THIS CREATIVITY
COURSE?
Spark for Art
I have truly enjoyed trying to express
myself in an artistic way
The Chindogu project was challenging to me
because I have never intentionally decided to
put two things together with the intention of
making something different from an artistic
standpoint, now from a chemical standpoint I
do that all the time because I’m a chemist, so
this project actually allowed me to translate
my passion for science research into Art.
This has not been a classical way for
me to think however I realize I enjoy it
tremendously and can actually do it
when I set my mind, senses and
actions around it.
Out of the box
thinking
The pet project definitely stretched
me and allowed a sense of
accomplishment to ensue within me.
Re-imaging isn’t an activity I have
delved in much and the chewing gum
project was a great one for me to
engage this type of thought.
Mind mapping is something I love to
do and an opportunity to use this
process to achieve a solution in this
course was great.
Observation of
my environment
The 30 minutes excursion in nature
was probably the biggest gift I got in
this course because I have since
become more observant of
everything around me:
conversations, peoples actions, my
thoughts, my physical/ spiritual/
emotional/ mental
environment, unspoken words, and
relationship. These put together
have made me a more creative and
intuitive individual
