This document summarizes the production process of Vijayamohini Mill, a textile corporation in Kerala, India. 5.  Hand stock mixing is done with 70% polyester
and 30% cotton(ie, 70:30)
 process is done in a a special room called
mixing room, which is in a lower tempter

6.  Raw material receved from the godown is
opned and cleanedin the blowroom to remove
its impurities
 For this purpose machine s named Trutzchler
andLekshmi Reiter’s are installed
 Machines using here are BO-1200, MFC , MPM-
8, ASTA-800, CVT1-1600,LVSA-B. MPM-8

7.  Process seperates the cotton fibers from
impurities and removed short and
immaturefibers
 Output of carding is known as sliver and it is
stored in coil cans
 Macines using here is FBK-553, DK
800,KHL 600 and Lekshmi Rieter

8.  Sliver is processed in two process
Doubling process- uniform in thickness
Drafting process-uniform in thickness
 Eight carding silvers are converted into one s
ilver
 Lekshmi Rieter model no Do63 and Trutzchler
model No. HSR 1000

9.  The level of ‘Silver’ determines the quantity of
the yarn spin
 Sliver is to be thinned out into a bobbin to suit
theyarn to the spin
 Simplex machines used are model JINGWEI,
JWF-146
 The product here is called Rover

10.  Spinning frames convert the roving receved
from simplex machine into yarnof receved
count.
 Here each bowan (2kg) is converted into 8
corps
 Spinning frame need24000wts power for
working,29 machines are work with the help of
51 workers

11.  There are eight machines and all are automatic
also known as autocones
 Each has the capacity to produce 120 cones
 Machines used are from Textool and Brad
corner has a speed of 640ypm

12.  Cones are packed by using polythene bags of
50 in number with a net weight of 50kg
 Product is known by the brand name ’Mohini
warp’
