Naturellement provides an environment
enriched with opportunities for women to
be in a position of self-empowerment. Our
fully equipped staff consisting of 30
women from the local Tamil Village
surrounding the township of Auroville is
the underlying foundation that sustains
our enterprise. The women benefit from
educational and recreational activities to
include cultural celebrations, English
classes, group trips and tours that add to
their personal growth and
development.

2. About Us Our Products The Garden Cafe
The Garden Cafe is part of our social
enterprise equally dedicated to delivering
high quality food prepared with the utmost
care in a loving environment.
Enjoy authentic mediterranean cuisine
under a canopy of garden trees where you
can relax and enjoy the delights of nature.
Fresh herbs and vegetables are picked in
our own kitchen garden. Everything made
in-house ranging from sorbet and
mascarpone to pasta, grissini and
focaccia!
Open from 9 am to 5 pm every day during
the season, for breakfast and lunch. A rich
variety of fresh juice, snacks, coffee, tea
and cakes are served.
There is Free Wi-Fi, a wide selection of
magazines and a children corner. Take
away is available.
Established in 1991, Naturellement is a
Social Enterprise dedicated to providing the
highest quality food produce to consumers.
While creating gourmet products of
international standards were
important, Swedish founder, Martina
Ljungquist, found the quality of human life
to be equally important. With this ethos
and passion, Naturellement quickly
leavened into an enterprise where local
rural women are empowered through
employment to be a recipe for change.
