5. ⢠1. The gesture first appears 4000 years ago, found in
clay tablets of the Indus Valley Civilization
⢠The gesture is also known as Hrdayanjali Mudra
meaning "reverence to the heart seal" (from hrd,
meaning "heart") and Atmanjali Mudra meaning
"reverence to the self seal"
⢠It is performed as part of a physical yoga practice with
an aim to achieving several benefits. It is a centering

candidate for the Janata Party in various Lok Sabha
elections. He was the minister of health during
Morarji Desaiâs ministry.
Raj Narain was the principle person who set off a
snowball effect when he filed a case against a
certain personality for manipulation and fraud of
the elections. When the Allahabad high court
upheld the accusation, the infamous event came
into effect.
