3. Aritz Aranburu is
the best surfer in
the Basque
Country. He lives
in Zarautz
( Gipuzkoa). He
was born in
Getaria (a town
near Zarautz) the
30th August 1.985.
4. He started surfing
when he was five
years old. He's a
self taught surfer.
His idols were
Kelly Slater, Andy
Irons and Tom
Curren but he also
likes Shane Powel
and Kalamy Robb.
In 2.007 he was the
best surfer in the
second division.
5. He won the
championship
In 12 years old
category. He
participed the
European
competition, too. His
first international
victory was in
Capbretone (France).
In 21 years old
category. He won it
twice.
6. Aritz Aranburu is a
reference for all
Basque surfers.
