Our target audience are young
urban women who are interested
in fashion. These women spend a
lot of time on social media
typically. Therefore, our biggest
opportunity is in social media
marketing. Our target here is
Instagram penetration via
marketing and branding.
Facebook today has a much
older population while young
people are on Instagram. Thus,
our focus is on Instagram
marketing because that's where
our customers are.
Influencer Marketing:
Marketing through influencers who
have around 20K followers with a
minimum 3% engagement rate.
We did this via Ms. Vinita Chaudhari
(VinitaChaudhari_Artistry) and
received many profile visits and
inquiries.
Advertisements:
Advertisement for market penetration
in the form of instagram post ads.
Word-of-mouth is an effective yet
undermined tool in marketing. If done
strategically, it works wonders for the
business.
At Flaneur, we incentivized this tool by
way of referral marketing. In an offline
world, this strategy has a limited reach
but with social media and digital
marketing in place, referral marketing
has helped us tap our target segment
optimally.
There are ways and means through
which referrals can be done like -
through employees, customers, tie-ups
with complementary businesses,
referral marketing network, cash and
non-cash incentives, time-bound
rewards, making website and social
media suitable for referrals.
