2. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
• The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a grand tourer
sports car Produced by the Italian manufacturer
Ferrari between 2006 and 2012. It is the
successor of the Ferrari 575M Maranello, and its
name refers to Autodrome if evidence of the
brand.
• Keeps center longitudinal front engine and rear
wheel drive, aluminum is manufactured
flawlessly if offers CUPE body only with two doors
and two seats.
3. Chassis and Body• The body of the 599 GTB was designed by Jason
Castriota1 March 2 and Fabrizio Valentini, 4 both
of Pininfarina under the supervision of then
Ferrari design director Frank Stephenson. The
interior design was done by Giuseppe Randazzo
(Pininfarina). The 599 has several aerodynamic
elements, including a flat bottom and a gap
between the C-pillar and rear window, called
pinne ("fin" in Italian) and generates a vertical
load of 1550 N when driving at 300 km / h .

• The 599 GTB has the same engine as the Enzo
Ferrari, one gasoline V 12 cylinder 6.0 liter
engine. It has four valves per cylinder, a
compression ratio of 11.2 to 1 and variable
distribution chain. Regarding the Enzo,
modifications were made to the intake,
exhaust and crankcase for improved power at
low revs. For the same reason, the maximum
power is 620 hp at 7600 rpm, 40 hp less than
the Ferrari Enzo.
5. Transmission and Suspension
• The sequential gearbox is able to shift gears in a split second, when
used Ferrari F1 half a tenth. Also improved transmission and clutch,
which is now two albums to eliminate inertia and weight. The
gearbox is placed on the rear and near the differential, to improve
weight distribution (85% of the weight is placed between two
trains). In the 599 not used an electronic differential as the Ferrari
F430 used but conventional mechanical one (set 25% acceleration
and 45% retention). Traction control is switched off.

dampers, a solution that enables to vary the hardness of the buffer
in a ten times faster than with a conventional active suspension
system. They offer disc brakes optional carbon-ceramic (Composite
including this carbon fiber) and fitted as standard across the range
from 2008.

• The Ferrari 599 GTO is a limited edition of 599
units with 670 hp and an acceleration of 3.3
seconds.5
