Emma went to JC Penny with her mom and baby brother for her 8th birthday. At the store, she saw a beautiful dress for her birthday party but her mom said it was too expensive. Emma cried all the way home from being sad. However, at the party her best friend Amy gave her the same dress as a gift, which made it the best birthday and gift ever for Emma.

2. On Sunday May 1st was Emma’s birthday. She was turning 8 years old. Emma, her mom and her baby brother went to JC Penny. First, they went to the Lobby to get milkshakes. Then they toke the elevator to the 2nd floor. Today

3. was Emma’s birthday she invited all of her friends to the party, she was so exited. She saw a beautiful dress to wear to the party but, she still looked at more other dresses and then she found a beautiful dress that she loved.

4. she turned around and asked her mom if she could buy it, but her mom said ’’sweetie no it’s to expensive.’’ She cried all the way home. When it was party time she was not crying but, was still sad. She tried to stop but she couldn’t. After they finished eating Emma opened up the gifts.

5. She opened up her best friend Amy’s gift last. She loved Amy’s gift the best because it was the dress she saw at JC Penny. It was the best birthday and gift she ever had.
