The Malaysia Internet Exchange ("MyIX") was established in
2006 by the Government of Malaysia and the Malaysian
Communications and Multimedia Commission ("MCMC"), in
partnership with 16 ISP (Internet Service Providers) to operate
Malaysia’s first neutral Internet Exchange ("IX"). MyIX is one of
regional largest non-profit IX operated & managed by the
local ISP consortium. Currently hosting 98 members
comprises of local ISP, foreign ISP, domestic & international
content providers exchanging more than 350Gbps of traffic.

The Malaysia Network Operators Group (MyNOG) is an
initiative to bring together network operators in Malaysia to
encourage sharing of knowledge, learning and co-operation
among fellow counterparts. The main objective is to build a
forum to discuss operational issues and technologies of
interest among the network operators in Malaysia.
