PAN. LOW TO HIGH. Man#1 on a bridge.
TRACKING SHOT – FRONT OF ACTOR TO BEHIND HIM. Man walks down bridge, pauses.
MEDIUM SHOT. Man#1 halts.
WIDE. Man#2 leaning against post.
WIDE POV. Man#2 notices man#1, desaturates, slo-mo.
CU REACTION. Man#1 calls to Man#2.
WIDE SHOT – BEHIND MAN#1. Man#1 looks disgusted, turns and walks away.
FRONTAL TRACKING SHOT. Man#1 continues walking, looking more troubled. Colour
returns. Match angle cut from path to road.
WIDE SHOT. Man#1 walks down the street, while man #3 turns the corner and walks
towards him.
POV SHOT. Slo-mo, desaturation, man#3 locks eyes with man#1.
CU. Man#1 locks eyes with man#3.
WIDE SHOT. Man#1 is grabbed by man #3.
POV. Man#3 yells at man#1.
WIDE. Man#3 beats man#1, leaves him on ground. Walks away.
HIGH MEDIUM SHOT. Man#1 picks himself up.
POV TRACKING. Man#1 walks down alley.
WIDE. Man#1 stops. Black and white, picture distorts.
ZOOMTO CU. Man#1 blinks as colour returns.
TRACKING SHOT. Man#1 continues walking.
PAN UP TO SKY.
PAN DOWN. ESTABLISHING SHOT OF PARK AND MAN SAT ON BENCH.
CU. Head in hands.
MONTAGE – COLOUR BEGINS TO WARP – SPED UP, SLO MO
WIDE. Man standing, twisting around.
2. CU. Man on knees. Looking anguished.
WIDE. Man screaming at the sky.
MEDIUM. Man doubled over in pain.
FLASHES OF STOCK FOOTAGE.
CUT TO NIGHT/EVENING.
WIDE. Man walks down street.
POV. Man being watched.
TRACKING FROM BEHIND WALL TO BEGIN FOLLOWING MAN. Man looks behind him, starts
running.
POV. Running, distortion, colour warp, speed-up, slo-mo.
TRACKING – FOLLOWS MAN ACROSS ROAD FROM A DISTANCE TO BRIDGE WHERE IT STOPS,
TURNS AWAY.
HIGH OTS TO LOW MEDIUM FRONTAL. Man falls down to his knees on a bridge, sees note
on ground.
OTS. Man reads note – shows yellow smiley face.
MCU. Man’s face on black background, distorted image, stock footage.
CU. Lighter being extinguished.
MATCH ANGLE CUT TO LOW MED FRONTAL. Man walking on first bridge where he sees
man#2 who nods and smiles at him from same position.
LONG WIDE. Man#1 walking down bridge – man#3 stops to talk for a second and then
moves on.
MCU. Man walks to side of bridge.
WIDE OTS. Looks at view. Colour and speed distortion ceases.
CU. Look of contentment passes across his face.
TRACKING BACK. He steps back from the back and begins to walk away.
FADE OUT.
