Tata Institute of Social Sciences' School of Health Systems Studies is a centre of excellence for healthcare education. In 2006, TISS restructured all of its healthcare courses to better meet the demands of the industry. The School of Health Systems Studies was created to oversee 4 centres focused on public health, health policy, hospital management, and health and social sciences.

1. Tata Institute Of Social Sciences is a centre of excellence in
the field of health through its dedicated School Of Health
Systems Studies (SHSS). In its 70th year, TISS restructured
all the courses to make them more suited to meet the
existing demands and challenges of the healthcare sectors.
Post restructuring in the year 2006, the department of
health systems studies was renamed as ‘The School Of
Health Systems Studies'.

4. EVENTS
Clairvoyance is the Annual National
Conference conducted in TISS Mumbai.
Every year, the events are designed
around a specific theme which addresses
the pertinent issues in the transitional
healthcare system of India. The
conference witnesses prominent speakers
from various fields of health who comes
together and share their knowledge and
experience.
The Alumni Committee of SHSS
organizes the annual meet NOSTOS
where alumni and the current students can
interact. We are privileged to have highly
qualified, diverse and well-placed alumni.
Apart from these annual events, the school
keeps organizing various talks, seminars
and workshops on different healthcare
issues and skill development.
