As I look out into the class, my stomach immediately drops. Every single one of them was staring at
me. Like drones with heavy eyes, waiting for this to be over. Quickly, my eyes dart back down to
the note card I am holding in my shaking hand. The few notes I had written were sloppy and I can
barely read them. I hadn't had much time to prepare which only added to my already high stress

I don't know about you, but that race home after school to fight your bladder so you don't pee your
pants is probably the only exercise I do all day. It's like a marathon; first, the run to your bike, then

Everyone has some sort of pet–peeve that makes them tick. I have several, but there is one in
particular that makes especially annoyed. And that is when people try to talk to me or strike up a
conversation while wearing headphones (or earbuds, the two can be viewed interchangeably in this

While I was cutting out a rusted section of my vehicle, a cloth sheet hanging over the vehicle's panel
would consistently fall and block my sight. I was angry at the sheet. Then I thought, maybe if I
would've secured the sheet better I wouldn't have this problem. When I understood the cause of the
problem I was no longer angry at the sheet. The cause was my own stupidity. In a situation that
tends to annoy me, I find it is best to try to understand the problem. In this essay, I will write about

One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to movies is how the ending occurs. Whether it is a
happily every after, or a dark turn of events, as long as the flick doesn't end abrupt I will most likely
enjoy it. 12 Angry Men went the other direction. Resulting in a cliffhanger to end without telling the
audience whether or not the boy actually did the crime. Compelling, yet thrilling as the director left
a big question mark at the end of this film. The jurors in this film each had their own personality and

to me while watching this film. These two jurors who were more different than each other could

Pet Peeves and Ethics A pet peeve that I have that bothers me immensely is when people make
unnecessary noise or allow unnecessary noise to persist in a public place. For example, if I'm on
public transportation and someone is allowing music from radio to be heard to the rest of the train, I
