THE FAMILY MAN
&
SLIDING DOORS
SUMMARY
The Family Man:
This movie is about a wealthy man
who thinks he has everything in his life
so one day his fate decides to show
him the glimpse of what family life is
like. He gets a Chance to experience
what family life is like and later he
realizes that the most important thing
he did not have was a family.
Sliding Doors:
This movie is divided into two
scenarios. In the first one, the main
character Helen catches the train
and finds her boyfriend cheating on
her with another women whereas,
in the other scenarios she misses
the train and finds her boyfriend
alone in the house.
THEMES
FATE VS. CHOICE
 Both of this movies present similar themes
which is Fate vs. choice.
 In the movie the family man, it was the fate
that showed the main character a glimpse
of what family life is like
 For example , in the family man the main
character Jack Campbell who thought he
had everything in life and not knowing what
he's missing, his fate showed him the
glimpse of a family life.
Themes
Sliding Doors:
 In Sliding doors it was choice that played important
role in Helen's life.
 Similarly in the movie "Sliding doors", Helen's life
was divided into two modes but that depended on
weather she catches the train or not.
 It was Helen's choice to run and catch the train.
THE FAMILY MAN
SLIDING DOORS
MORAL
The Family man:
It gives the message that just
because you have money
does not mean that you have
everything in life. You cant
buy everything with money.
There are something's in life
that you have to sacrifice in
order to earn it.
Sliding Doors:
In sliding doors it gives you
message that, relationships
are extremely hard work and
in order to be successful in
relationship, you need to find
someone who loves you and
who you can trust. This
movie also shows that how
difficult and unfair life can be
at times.
