Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan daya mesin dengan merubah
temperatur bahan bakar sebelum proses pembakaran. Dengan merubah temperatur bahan
bakar diharapkan campuran antara udara dan bahan bakar menjadi lebih homogen sehingga
tercapai pembakaran yang sempurna dan daya mesin dapat meningkat. Metode yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah membandingkan antara daya mesin yang tidak
menggunakan pemanas bahan bakar dengan daya mesin yang menggunakan pemanas bahan
bakar. Setelah itu menentukan berapa temperatur bahan bakar dan putaran mesin yang
paling efektif terhadap daya mesin. Pemanas bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah Electronic
Gasoline Heater yaitu alat pemanas bahan bakar yang dikontrol secara elektronik
menggunakan microcontroller. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya mesin yang
tidak menggunakan pemanas bahan bakar cenderung lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan
yang menggunakan pemanas bahan bakar. Terjadi peningkatan daya mesin sekitar 600 Watt
pada setiap Kenaikan temperatur bahan bakar dan putaran mesin. Sedangkan daya mesin
terbesar terjadi pada temperatur bahan bakar 50°C dengan putaran mesin 1750 rpm.

The purpose of this research is to increase engine power by changing the
temperature of the fuel before combustion process. By changing the temperature of the fuel
is expected to mix between air and fuel to be more homogeneous in order to achieve
complete combustion and engine power can be increased. The method used in this study was
to compare between the machines that do not use heating fuel to power engines that use
heating fuel. After that determines how much fuel temperature and engine speed are most
effective against the machine. Heating fuel used is Electronic Heater Gasoline is the fuel
heater is electronically controlled using a microcontroller. Results of the study indicate that
the machine that does not use fuel heaters tend to be lower compared with that using the
heating fuel. An increase in engine power about 600 watts on any increase in fuel
temperature and engine speed. While the engine power was greatest in fuel temperature of
50 ° C at 1750 rpm engine speed.
