provided for the budding art lover to enjoy and learn. Details

For the purposes of building interest, the article has provided a

museum. The relevance of the article in my research is its
ability to provide contact information and act as a point of
reference in building on the content of research. The general
information given will go a long way in shedding some light on

American art scene. For the purposes of a factual account of the

the cultural aspect of the institution. It elaborates the position
of the museum on the American art scene by giving a
descriptive analysis of the institution's relevance on culture and
art. Treasures of the museum are indicated and clear defined to
give a total of 300 treasures. Art pieces from Europe, America,
and Latin America are described here as the author tries to give

The American art collection found in the museum is described
in this article. From as late as the 18th century to the 20th
century the art pieces are depicted in photographs that give a
visual enchantment to the art lover. The chronological art
development of the American tradition since the time of the
natives is traced in this exhibition through portraiture landscape
painting genre scenes and large scale painting. The collection
found in this article try's to show the influence of naturalism
that was once popular in Europe before finding its way in
America.

fashion looks into the artist's romance of the museum. Denitta
has highlighted on the museum's fashion collection and with
that, she has brought to life the museums 50 years attachment to
fashion. The work of Denitta served to inspire the visitor to the
museum on the journey that America fashion has been through
and the place in the future of fashion. A graduate of Yale,
Dennita has proven that she is not just a curator but her sense of
contemporary fashion has transcended time.
The article has been written by Bartkowski and offers a
clear description of the place of fashion in the museum and the
American historical culture. The journey of Dennita with the
museum will help my research in creating diverse content of art
and fashion. The author of the article then goes ahead and
details out the beginning of Dennita Sewell in that she came to
the Phoenix with the accompaniment of three dresses that were
of a vintage nature. The article also talks about the personal
opinions of Dennita in that the author of the article highlights
that Dennita loves art due to the visual portray of objects in the
mannequins. Dennita also says that she feels more productive
and creative if she is surrounded by individuals who are active
in a project.

The article by the Lynn Trimble is based on the portrayal of

9. issues concerning terrorism and the consumerism. The author of
the article starts by saying that one would find an installation of
Nathaniel Lewis at the local airport. The author talks about the
Play land Security that was created with wood, metal, and fabric
that is meant to portray the experience of screenings at an
airport. The illustration is also described to contain terrorism
portrayals of explosives vest with dynamites that illustrates the
danger that is faced by civilians in the airports. The illustrations
by Lewis and other seven Arizona artists take place in a venue
that was previously used by the Phoenix art museum to show the
drawings of an Italian artist called Michelangelo.
The illustration by Lewis promotes an awareness towards the
possibilities and the existence of terrorism and thus urge people
to be vigilant. Such illustrations from artists that are associated
with the phoenix museum, portrays the significance of the
museum in augmenting the existence of such artists. Other
artists featured in the 2015 contemporary forum artists grant
winners were Anna garner, Abbey Messmer, and other more
artists. Quiballo also has been described to portray work of the

vigilant as well as carefully towards their own security and that

Introduction
The Phoenix Art Museum is was opened in 1959 and currently
the largest museum in the southwest of the United Stated in the
Central Avenue Corridor. It features a heavy collection of
European and Asian art, as well as an impressive Modern Art
wing. The museum acts a national reference center that is used
by different scholars. It contains materials dating to the 12th
century, it also serves as a center for American history and
reference. In addition, the museum also offers educational
programs. This is in line with the claims advance by Shannon in
her article, her arguments are on the importance of propagating
