with positional preference and/or skull deformation were observed for two and a half months at the

As the week continues to progress, I have been able to gain more knowledge. This week, I began to
assist the physical therapist with the electrical stimulation machine. This device is for patients who
has posterior or shoulder pain. The machine send steady electrical impulses to target the exact spot

I am excited about the opportunity to attend the University of Vermont Doctor of Physical Therapy
Program. As a Sports Science major and student athlete in cross country skiing and running, I have
gained significant experience with human motion analysis and am extremely interested in the
Human Performance Center at the University of Vermont. Additionally, I am impressed by the
emphasis on integrating research findings to improve clinical care of patients. Compassion,
