ONLY. Visitors who have scheduled appointments with staff members may park
with a valid visitor permit from the office. A visitor permit must include the date
or is considered void. Parking in these spaces without a staff, numbered or visitor
permit could result in ticket or boot at the owner's expense. Visitors are allowed
to park without a pass during daily Mass times.
Saturday and Sunday - All spots in the lot are open to the public. If there is a
special event please be considerate. During Mass times please see the parking
map online for alternative parking lots at our website: www.txstatecatholic.org.

Lighthouse Catholic Media is part of a practical and effective program to help
Catholics learn more about our faith and reach out to friends and family who may

Why use a bulletin form?
This form allows for easier communication for missionaries as well as office
personnel of OLOW to advertise to students for upcoming events. Be sure to submit

Bobcats For Life is the pro-life organization at Texas State. The organization addresses
life issues and participates in community events & service projects relating to the
cause., including Texas Rally for Life, distributing "Cupcakes for Life" on campus every
semester, hosting pro-life speakers, and more.
Over 200 students participate in the Bobcat Awakening retreat each semester; 64 as
retreaters and 150-170 as staffers. The leadership team of 20 students plan the retreat,
with the help of their staff, at 6 weekly staff meetings leading up to the retreat.
Lambda Omega Alpha is a Catholic-based service fraternity created to foster a lifelong
Christian brotherhood where its members will grow spiritually. Lambda Omega Alpha
focuses on three virtues of chivalry, loyalty, and spirituality through weekly reflections
in the chapel, service projects and involvement at Our Lady of Wisdom and the San
Marcos community. There is usually a pledge class every Fall and Spring semester.

3. SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT

Men:
Father Charlie Banks comes to OLOW twice a month on Tuesdays to give
spiritual direction. 30 minute appointments are in the morning from 9 am-12 pm.
Sign up sheet will be located in the lobby near the chapel doors.
Spiritual Direction
Discernment Dinners: The evening includes dinner, evening prayer, and
discussion about the priesthood, seminary, and discernment. Dates are posted on
the Austin Vocations website*, taking place on Wednesdays form 7-8:30 pm
at Borromeo House, 905 Duncan Lane in Austin, Texas. For more information,
contact Fr. Jonathan Raia at the Vocation Office at 512-949-2430.
Heart of Jesus Men's Discernment Retreat, at Cedarbrake Retreat Center in
Belton, Texas. Friday-Sunday retreat, $35, usually in the Fall.*
The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist reside in Buda, Texas
and are always welcoming women to pray Vespers with them on Sunday
evenings starting with 30 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration at 4:30 pm.

Office Computer and Phone Use
The office has a student use computer and phone available to you for organizational
purposes. This computer is by the office window in the left corner. This computer does
have internet access and printing capabilities. This computer is only available during
office hours (M-F 9 am-6 pm) except for money counting times on Mondays. Please
use the "student" user, no password is required.
Printer and Copier Use
We have one large copier printer located in the main office. There is a student use
computer that is available to you for printing purposes. We have colored paper and
white paper. Please try to keep color copies to a minimum. You can also print from a
USB. Scanning can be done through a USB only.

Liturgical Ministry
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
The RCIA process begins in September and those who are ready receive Baptism,
Confirmation and First Communion at the Easter Vigil. We also have Confirmation
classes for those who have not yet recieved the Sacrament of Confirmation. For
