I consider myself an experienced and seasoned, often intriguing, graphic solutions for advertis-
ing, magazine & newspaper publishing, and brand identities.
Born in Isfahan, Iran in 1967,Alireza Jevehnejad (Ali Jelveh) graduated from the Faculty of Fine
Arts,Tehran University (1986) in graphic design. For the past twenty five years, I have been
immersed in the broader international communications and information industry as very much a
‘hands on’ art director, illustrator and graphic designer in Iran and Kuwait.
Career includes:
• Art director and costume designer for three Iranian films (1991- 1993- 1995)
• Advertising agencies: Kimia, Neshaneh and Salim Graphic Company (1991/ 2001)
• Jelveh Workshop (Graphic Design & Illustration) opened in Tehran in 1993
• Director, Graphic Unit, Hamshahry Newspaper (1994 -1998)
• Art director, Zan Newspaper (special newspaper for women) in 1997 (Tehran)
• Art director of Ketab-e-Mah (Book of the Month magazine - Published By Ministry of
Culture & Art/ Tehran) in 1998 -2000
