its evolving behaviors and needs.

8. NEW YORK’S FINANCIAL DISTRICT is a symbol of rebirth and reinvention.
!
This densely-packed enclave is no longer beholden to its eras-long reputation. Once a
mere servant to the Masters of the Universe who occupied it by day and abandoned
it by night, the area has emerged as a thriving epicenter of residence, business, culture,
and recreation.
9. A FITTING MARRIAGE. A hotel that’s reinventing the hotel in a historic
neighborhood that’s embracing dramatic change.
20. The LOBBY provides the first point of connection.
!
It serves as an open area of reception, greeting the exchange of guest traffic with a
natural ambiance and playful bursts of color.
!
Guests can comfortably pass through or efficiently access assistance with services.

29. The 2nd FLOOR is the center of social interaction, whether business or personal. It’s
where the COTEL community is formed.
!
Guests can hold meetings in large or small rooms, casually conduct business in the
lounge areas, find respite on the indoor or outdoor patios, take a latte and pastry at the
café, and order catering services.
38. The ROOFTOP serves many functions.
!
During warmer months, the swimming pool, outdoor lounge with lite dining, and full service
bar provide a venue for social recreation against the backdrop of downtown Manhattan.
!
A two-story Health & Fitness center provides a freeing, virtually outdoor space with
panoramic city views year-round. Guests can take in classes or a quick workout in this stress-
free zone.
41. A second floor to the Health & Fitness center is for classes in yoga, pilates, and dance.
!
Minimal equipment is kept on this floor, so it can easily be reconfigured into a rooftop
meeting room or small event space complete with stunning views of the city.
