Visual Design
I am an experienced Visual Designer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design.
Photoshop
After using Adobe Photoshop for a number of years I have become an expert in the
following disciplines. Photoshop, Photo manipulation, Appling different colours that will
enhance the overall design. This would include banners design, logo design and web
design frameworks.
The tools that I mainly use is filters to add effects such as blur, distort and pixelate.
Another tools that I tend to use is called adjustments, Hue / saturation this means that I
can change original colours displayed on the picture to different colours
Illustrator
I mainly use Illustrator for logo design as it gives a more crisp smooth effect and avoids a
kind of pixel jagged effect that is used in Photoshop. Illustrator is mainly a vector image
this allows you to bring down a colour picture to only two colours. I also use illustrator to
increase and decrease images without losing quality.
Art Rage Studio
I use Art Rage Studio so I can works out designs of logos or when designs, by coming up
with wireframe designs concepts.

Coral Draw used for logo designs.
Gimp
I used Gimp to edit images, resize images and apply visual effects to these images with
the view of enhancing the quality of the pictures.

3. Web Design
I have created a variety of web design projects for clients.
HTML
I have created a number of websites using html to construct the foundation of the website
and CSS to style the website and understand how to construct a website using html. I
have become ab expert in all the versions of html form the first version 1.0 to the more
recent version html 5.
UI Design
UI Design, planning the website, looking at responsive to enable website to be accessed
over a number of different platforms.
Data Base
Setting up databases and using the following mysql, Php and MyPhpadmin,
This involves changing versions configure file to enable to connect though out the web
server
CSS
CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) allow me change the way to the website looks and feels.
Server Side
I worked on a number of projects using service side solutions this included doing PHP
forms and connecting to various database with the help of MyphpAdmin and MySQL.
Dreamweaver
I use Dreamweaver to build websites, It helps me see the website visually and quickly
make changes. The changes are made by change CSS style sheets.
Hosting
I have set up a number of clients using Plesk and Cpanel. This involved setting up emails
web address and in some cases I had to relocate the domain to other hosting providers
using the name server protocol.

4. I understand how to use Plesk this is a hosting solution to help you set up hosting
accounts, create emails and make short subdomains.
CPanel
I mainly use cpanel similar to plesk and allows you do the same things. I have recently
looked at VPs also.
Domain Names
I understand and have created a number of Server Names to view to relocation to other
hosting providers, configuring an IP address so it can be located to another hosting
provider.
WHMCS
Whmcs for selling domains and hosting, I understand how to set up accounts and delete
them. I can set you billing and email reminders.

Arts Group). This involves adding new content for the members to view on a daily basis,

I have created a number of dynamic websites for various businesses and private
individuals, using mainly HTML, CSS and search engine optimisation. Responsibilities
included: insuring that each customer is well advised when it comes to web design
principles. Using the latest FTP software to upload websites through Dreamweaver or
independent software.
